Sauna Suit V4:
My first impression in seeing the Sauna Suit V4 is that it resembles a wetsuit. Although, I find it a lot more comfortable since the newly improved SweatTech Neoprene has a higher level of flexibility. The fit is form fitting around the body, but not overly snug. (I’m 5’ 10” and about 195 pounds wearing a size large). I find there is plenty of room in the legs, and the dual-layered black checkered mesh material in the armpits and down the sides gives me plenty of flex. I am a little concerned that the collar will chafe, however it is surprisingly soft and turns out to be a non-issue.
As I work out I can tell the Sauna Suit V4 is designed to move with me through any type of exercise. It is no surprise that this is professionally designed by a wrestling champion. I like that the Sauna Suit V4 features a Honeycomb Ventilation which adds comfort and allows breathability. This means I can maximize sweat and enhance calorie burning.
At times the Sauna Suit V4 is a little bulky. It is restraining when I compare it to traditional workout gear (but that is what I expect with this material). To compare it to the look and feel of mesh shorts and a dry fit shirt isn’t really fair. After several workouts I don’t notice it as much, but I’m not entirely certain whether that is because it is breaking in a little or I’m just getting more used to wearing it. One feature I really appreciate is the Velcro pocket for storing a phone or wallet when needed. The only thing I would change is to add something to help get out of it after working out. It can be a little tricky to take off. Overall, the Sauna Suit V4 increases the challenge of my workouts and allows me to take my results to the next level!
Drawstring V4 Hoodie:
Kutting Weight also offers a sauna hoodie made entirely of their 1.5mm SweatTech elastic neoprene material. This hooded sweatshirt features a draw string, zippered center pocket (ingenious idea that I wish other sweatshirts had), and a nine-inch side zipper for easy on and off. Like all of Kutting Weight’s apparel, the Drawstring V4 Hoodie is perfect for inducing a good sweat and burning more calories.
The Drawstring V4 Hoodie fits and wears similar to a regular hoodie sweatshirt, just made with neoprene to maximize the heat training. I find I can easily pull it over my Sauna Suit V4 (and other Kutting Weight gear) for an even more intense workout. I also use it independently when I just want to keep my core warm. It is fashionable enough to wear in everyday workout scenarios too.
Like the Sauna Suit V4, the Drawstring V4 Hoodie has triple-reinforced stitching for incredible durability. Side note, since it is neoprene, this hoodie is awesome for fishing in the fall or windy-rainy weather. Most of all, the Sauna Suit V4 and Drawstring V4 Hoodie are scientifically proven to boost work outs. Kutting Weight clothing contributes to a significantly increased metabolism (20.8%).
