I’m not sure I’ve ever been more excited about a product release than I am about the Oakley Line Miner Pro Snow Goggles. The 2024 season is looking to end amazingly well for the snow sports. In this review I will cover first impressions, fit, all the extras, and a final verdict on how amazing these snow goggles actually are. If you aren’t into reading, check out our video review of the goggles below!
Choices and Preference
I love that Oakley gives me options. They don’t just sell the goggles – they offer two lens options. After testing both lenses multiple times, I have found that I prefer the Iced Iridium lenses over the Sapphire Iridium lenses. Having a little bit of a lighter tint is easier to see, but on a super sunny day, my decision might just change. However, with both lenses being polarized, it’s super easy to see clearly and still have a nice tint from the sun.
Inside the Box
After removing the cover, you first get a protective carrying case. Inside the case, you have two pouches and your owner’s guide. In the first pouch, you have the goggles with the Iced lenses attached. In your second pouch, you have the Sapphire lenses.
Be sure to handle these goggles with care – if you aren’t aware, the inside of the lens is coated with a special film that allows them to keep from fogging up. If snow gets on the inside, simply shake it out. You definitely don’t want a bunch of smudges etc. here.
Fit
To be more aware of our environmental impact, the Line Miner Pro is made with a bio-resin frame and a recycled polyester strap, which is super comfortable on your face during a long day of skiing. The Line Miner Pro band and the build of the frame will fit any and all Oakley snow helmets, and almost all third-party helmets. I have a third-party helmet, and it fits perfectly snug with no problems. The above review video can give you a great idea of what this looks like.
The Line Miner’s make the helmet combo look insane. Best drip on the slopes for sure. It isn’t just the fit and style that makes these bad boys shine though. The performance is top notch when shredding. Regardless of how hot or sweaty I get – the Line Miner Pro’s don’t get all foggy like cheap goggles. The difference is instantly noticeable, and it’s why I have to brag on these so heavily.
Summary
Oakley continues to prove that they make the best snow goggles and sunglasses in the game! With the two lenses being the Iced Iridium and Sapphire Iridium, along with a really nice carrying case to protect your goggles on the way to the slopes, the accessories are pretty sweet!
The Oakley Line Miner Pro Snow Goggles are overall a great choice and make a fantastic present for snow sports lovers! Better yet, get some for yourself. You simply can’t be disappointed with these. With the enhanced view and sharp optics, I highly recommend them! The frames, lenses, and features of the Oakley Line Miner™ Pro L Snow Goggles will amplify your on-slope experience!
