I’ve done this twice now in about a month to a month and a half. This could be due to under tightening the screws while I put the chair together (which only took about 10 minutes). Or perhaps there is a minor design flaw. Just know my kids also use this chair and play with the armrests constantly. I sincerely believe the latter is the cause of the issue.
