Listen up. March is shaping up to be a crazy month for game releases, and Blitzreviews.com can’t wait for three key ones. These games are going to be both nostalgic, new, and no matter what a blast. Without further ado, here are the best games in March.

Alone in the Dark

This game is going to be awesome and here’s why. Alone in the Dark first came out in the 90’s and it was an awesome game then. This remake is going to hit hard in the nostalgic feels and we here at Blitreviews.com absolutely cannot wait for March 20th. I recall spending entire nights of my life trying to navigate my way through puzzles with minimal ammo through a pixelated mansion.

This game was terrifying then, and it promises to be a phenomenal remake. How do we know? Well, for starters Stranger Things actor David Harbour is in it. That alone just may be enough for most of us to want to give this game a shot. If you happen to love Resident Evil, you can thank games like Alone in the Dark for the ambient settings and features you love in those games.

Alone in the Dark promises to be “faithful” to the original while massively enhancing the graphics. You don’t need any prior information about the game to enjoy the game either.

Dragon’s Dogma 2

I miss Skyrim. I’ve played through it for countless hours as have many across the globe. Clearly the next iteration is still years away, and I don’t know how to handle it. Okay, I kind of do. Dragon’s Dogma 2 may be the thing we all need while we wait. Elden Ring was cool, tedious, and unforgiving with a story that nobody understands. Dragon’s Dogma 2 could just be the fix we all need for our Fantasy RPG blues. Okay, Baldur’s Gate 3 helps too.

Honestly though, watching the Dragon’s Dogma 2 Trailer gets me pretty pumped about the potential for this game. The action trailer looks absolutely amazing and stunning graphically. If all goes well, perhaps this could be Skyrim’s replacement. Modders get ready please, I’m going to need you. If you aren’t familiar with the potential for Dragon’s Dogma 2 check out this PS5 trailer here:

Princess Peach: Showtime

Okay so we’ve introduced a couple of sweet looking games for mature players, but we can’t leave out what is shaping up to be a great time heading back to the Mushroom Kingdom in Mario. Princess Peach: Showtime is set to release on the same date as Dragon’s Dogma 2. That’s March 22nd.

Princess Peach: Showtime looks like straightforward simple fun. It’s Peach’s first ever game, and we’d be lying if we said we weren’t kind of excited to give it a go. Nintendo does such an awesome job keeping our attention with the most iconic characters out there. The charm of this game looks to be off the charts, and I can’t imagine a single Switch owner with kids passing on this. Looking forward to a great time playing as Peach in this upcoming title.

Summary

There you have it. These are the best games in March. Three incredible games coming up in just the next few weeks. Which one do you most look forward to?
